Abstract
The resource book interrogates the security discourse and explores its changing contours. It draws from the proceedings of the Regional Conference on NonTraditional Security Discourse: Gender and South Asia organized in December 2003, with thematic focus on displacement, transnational flows, intra-state conflicts, peacemaking and peacebuilding while providing the socio-economic specificities of the new challenges to security of states and citizens.
