Abstract
Based on the proceedings of a WISCOMP forum on Disasters and Security that brought together researchers and practitioners, this report provides a summary of the issues raised when disasters are viewed in the contexts of gender, displacement, the role of state and civil society, diplomacy and conflict resolution. It includes a list of ideas for follow-up action and a select bibliography on disasters and security.
